From Small Holes to Entire Walls
Size doesn’t change how we treat the job. A hole left by a doorknob and a full ceiling that needs hanging and texturing both get the same attention to detail: properly aligned and taped seams, and sanding and finishing that’s smooth enough that changing light in the room doesn’t show where the repair happened. We show up on time, with the right tools, and we clean up when we’re done, done right the first time.
Drywall repairs we handle:
- Water damage removal and repair
- Hanging drywall
- Fall-through-ceiling damage
- Drywall installation
- Drywall finishing and texture matching
- Drywall skim coating
- Plaster wall repair
- Drywall patching
Ceiling Repair and Water Damage
Ceiling repair is its own category, mainly because ceiling water damage is usually behind it: a roof leak, an upstairs pipe, or an AC line that’s been dripping longer than anyone noticed. Once the source is actually fixed, the ceiling itself needs the damaged section cut out, dried, and replaced or patched, and matched back to whatever texture is already up there, smooth, popcorn, or knockdown. If a plumber just left a hole behind after fixing a leak, that’s exactly the kind of patch we close up, see our real pricing by patch size for what that typically runs.
Plaster Wall Repair
Older homes around Long Beach are more likely to have plaster walls than drywall, and plaster cracks and patches differently than drywall does. It’s a different technique, not just a different material, and it’s worth hiring someone who’s actually done plaster repair, not just drywall, if that’s what your walls are.
New Drywall Installation
Sometimes the fix isn’t a patch, it’s hanging new drywall entirely: a remodeled room, a garage conversion, or a ceiling that’s too far gone to save. Installation cost depends mainly on square footage and whether texture and paint are included, ask us for a real number once we’ve seen the space instead of guessing off a generic price list.
